Dr. Marina Vitkin
Dr. Marina Vitkin is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. She founded Bright Smile Dental Ltd. in 1997. Dr Vitkin takes as many continuing education courses as possible to give the best possible care to her patients. She strives to make all patients feel appreciated and comfortable, and makes sure the office is run professionally and smoothly.
There is always a joke and a smile for everyone, especially the kids, who never leave without a new toothbrush and a sticker or two. A huge sports fan, Dr. Vitkin follows not only the local professional teams, but also USA National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team, of which her daughter was a member for four years, and the National Tennis Circuit, since her son was a College level player. Both of her kids worked as Receptionists/Assistants at the office, before entering LECOM School of Dental Medicine, where Jon graduated as part of the class of 2016 and Stephanie, the class of 2018.
A lover of languages, in addition to English, Dr. Vitkin speaks fluent Russian and Polish, and works hard to improve her Spanish. She enjoys traveling and reading.
Dr. Lewis
Dr. Barbara Lewis
Dr. Barbara Lewis is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Dental Association for the past 13 years.
Dr. Lewis really enjoys helping her patients improve their smiles. She is committed to helping her patients achieve a healthy mouth. Dr. Lewis takes her time explaining procedures to her patients and makes sure to accommodate ever patient's needs.
When Dr. Lewis is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons. She also loves to travel when she has time.
Dr. Flaksman
Dr. Jon Flaksman
Dr. Jon Flaksman is a graduate of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine. He has a bachelors degree in Biology and Spanish from Lake Forest College, where he played on the men's tennis team.
Patient education is extremely important to Dr. Jon and he always spends as much time as necessary with his patients so that they can truly understand what is being done and what to expect.
He is a member of the ADA, IDS, and CDS. He is also fluent in both Russian and Spanish.
